Rules for playing in our servers |
|
As you know we have a bot that is managing the servers. Here I want to explain a little how it works and what the players should expect.
1. If your IP is in our ban list you will be kicked
2. If your GUID is in our ban list you will be kicked
3. If your name is not allowed (all, *haxor*, fuckyou etc.) you will be kicked
4. If the teams are unbalanced the bot will move players from the stronger team to the weaker team based on the moment when the players were moved last time (so if you are moved you will not be moved until all the other players are moved)
5. If a player renames himself to another player's name he will be warned 4 times then he will be kicked (to prevent name stealing exploits)
6. If a player's score on the server is too low he will be warned 4 times then he will be kicked
7. Considering points 5 and 6 a player will be kicked after 5 warnings of any kind (so 4 warnings + 1 last check)
Bot code will not be released for now but I can offer bot service to other servers on request!
Server admins can kick/ban a player for several reasons:
1. Cheat (must record first)
2. Bad words, insults, TK, bad behaviour in general
3. Ping too high (for causing lag to other players)
4. If an admin wants to connect to a server and the server is full he is allowed to kick one player (usually last one or the one with the highest ping as long as he is not a member of the clan) - I know that this is not so nice, but, after all, we are paying for the server so we earned this right.
I hope all these rules will make the servers a more friendly and pleasant environment and they will be respected by all players. If you have any comments or ideas to improve our bot please post them in our forum.

hope you feel that your money were well spent.
But now we are getting short on budget again (after all I think that nearly
6 months have passed since your payments) and we need some funds. So, if
you have some extra money please help us to keep the clan resources alive.

Thank you for your good work in making our clan a great clan; we are on URT
scene far longer than 90% of the clan because of nice people like you who

As you can see our teams are pretty crowded nowadays so recruiting is not a priority for us. However we could accept you if you are a very good player (AnnClan like :p) or you can help us in some other ways (website design, graphic design, movie maker, coding and why not ... donations). We will not longer accept beginners and/or medium level players to be trained. Sorry guys but we simply don't have time to teach others; you have to learn by yourself sometimes.

As of this morning you will need to install Urban Terror 4.1 in order to play on our servers.

Urban Terror 4.1 will be realeased on Saturday, December 22nd.
This release will feature stuff like:
* Working IP ban system
* Duplicate name protection (the trade of is that you can't use spaces in your name anymore though)
* Removal of white skins
* New/updated maps
* Updated UI and default settings
* /rcon players command, returning map/score and per player: name, team, score, ping, IP
Bug fixes, like:
* Fixed hit bug when crouching and moving
* Several spawn locations fixed
* Negev reload exploit fixed
* Power slide physics exploit fixed
* TDM scoreboard not updating fixed
* In-game browser now remembers your sorting preferences
And some tweaks to weapon balance:
* Sr8 unzooms when getting hit with significant damage
* Spas does less damage and knockback when getting hit by it is lower
* Ump does more damage
* Psg back to 8 bullets and chest hits bleed out

"Unofficial" maps removed |
|
Out of respect to the original mapper and because of copyright (intelectual property) infringement laws we decided to remove the maps that are not considered "official" maps by the UrT team.
